Completed Week One of the DogSmith Training Center’s Certification Program or has 30 CEU’s from approved DogSmith courses on assigned training center approved courses. Mandatory courses are

• DogSmith Mechanics & Training Curriculums
• Teaching Others to Teach
• Canine behavior and social communication
• DogSmith Training Tools and Equipment

A CTA Is qualified to be a Training Assistant for Group Classes only from the service offering list. With 50 CEU’s is qualified to teach group classes if the Franchise Owner is a Master DogSmith

	Completed Week One & Two of the DogSmith Training Center’s Certification Program
	Successfully completed all manual assignments and curriculum tests
	APDT Full member ($100.00) per year

CDT is qualified to hold Group Training Sessions and Private Consultations from the DS Service offering List with the exception of Grumpy Dog Classes

	Holds the AKC "CGC" Evaluator Title
	Is in full compliance with DogSmith Brand Standards
	Has 35 CEU’s on assigned topics from DogSmith approved course to include the following: 2 day Aggression workshop 3 webinars on a behavior change program case study and successful completion of the test within 4 days of the workshop Shaping Workshop and successful completion of the test within 4 days of the workshop Dogs & Kids Webinar and successful completion of the test within 4 days of the workshop
	Has a minimum of 250 hours of group training
	Has a minimum of 120 private consultation hours

	Has a CPDT Certification
	Has completed an additional 25 CEU from approved DogSmith Training/Workshops
	Is in full compliance with DogSmith Brand Standards
	Has conducted level two of Teaching others to Train

Master Canine Counselor is qualified to certify a Novice DogSmith Trainer for their own business
